Marcie's Awards Recognize Program Participants

Driven by a commitment to enhance the lives of individuals with mental illness, Marcella (Marcie) Schmoeger, the founder of CareLink, launched the organization's first program in 1959. More than 65 years later, her vision and philosophy continue to be central to the agency's mission.

CareLink's annual Marcie's Awards commemorate the memory and dedication of its founder by recognizing program participants' achievements in recovery, wellness, and self-determination. This year's recipients of the Marcie’s Award and Special Recognition certificates were celebrated at SnowBall, the agency’s annual holiday party, on December 10.
