From September 13-19, CareLink honored 335 employees with gifts of appreciation during Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week. Observed nationally each September, DSP Recognition Week honors the frontline professionals who support people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.

In a message to employees, President and CEO Gary Woomer reflected on the significance of their work: "Being a DSP is more than a job. It is a calling that requires patience, empathy, and resilience. Whether you’re teaching new skills, providing essential daily care, or offering a listening ear, your impact is profound and long-lasting."

CareLink is deeply grateful for the dedication, compassion, and hard work of our DSPs. Every day, they help program participants live safe, independent, and fulfilling lives. Their contributions are truly at the heart of our organization.
