Recognizing CareLink Program Quality

A CORE (Collaboration on Recovery & Excellence) meeting held on May 1 highlighted the agency's second annual CareLink Cup awards. Assistant Regional Director and Torrey House Program Supervisor Chris Swallow provided the meeting's introduction.

In 2023, the Torrey House team was honored with the inaugural CareLink Cup, an award established by the agency's Quality Department to recognize the program with the highest quality performance based on the cumulative audit scores for the calendar year.

The 2024 CareLink Cup was awarded to STAR II and its Program Manager, Stacie Edwards. In addition, the Golf Club program, led by Program Supervisor Joanna Lombardo, received the Supporting Independence Award. This first-of-its-kind award recognized the site as the only residential program in CareLink’s history to have all residents self-administering their medications.
