Throughout 2025, a committee of CareLink administrators and staff worked to develop a new Mission Statement and Core Values for CareLink Community Support Services. Both were formally adopted by the organization in early 2026.

"A good mission statement should be concise, clear, and focused on an organization’s core purpose," explained CareLink Chief Operations Officer Rich Hoback. "It should reflect the organization’s values, center the people it serves, inspire action, and guide decisions while clearly communicating why the organization exists."

"CareLink has a strong history grounded in the principles and values of psychiatric rehabilitation, a respectful, effective approach that helps people with behavioral health needs live safely in the community and experience greater personal fulfillment," Mr. Hoback added. "The agency’s Core Values put the CARE in CareLink and guide how we provide services to everyone in our programs."

Our Mission Statement

CareLink promotes opportunities for people with behavioral health needs to achieve their full potential through compassionate, trauma-informed, person-centered services where everyone can feel safe and valued.

Our Core Values

There are four pillars on which our values stand: Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Empowerment. Taken together, these values demonstrate our CARE for the people we serve.
