2007

CareLink’s Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program was named Outstanding Program of the Year by the Pennsylvania Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (PAPSRS).

CareLink was accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for a period of three years for our Career Services, Community Options/Access, Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Psychiatric Assessment Specialist, and STAR Day Services programs.  CareLink was awarded this certification with no recommendations.  This occurs in only 3% of accreditations. 

2006

Mary Daugherty, Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist, was awarded the Distinguished Practitioner Award by the Pennsylvania Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (PAPSRS).

2004

CareLink's Career Services Department was honored to receive an Eye on Recovery Award at the 16 th Annual Conference of the Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumers' Association (PMHCA) in June 2004. The award recognizes organizations for their "commitment, dedication and advancement of recovery oriented services." Career Services staff are very consumer-oriented and actively promote recovery principles in the employment and educational services they provide.

2003

Sudha Nair, M.D., CareLink psychiatrist, received the Excellence in Psychiatry Award from the National Alliance on Mental Illness in Delaware.

2002

The Senior Shared Living Program in Chestnut Hill received the Outstanding Program Award was recognized by PAPSRS (the PA Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services) for the high quality services they provide to people with mental illness.

Matthew Federici, Vocational Program Supervisor, was honored with the Distinguished Practitioner Award from PAPSRS. Matthew's high standards of care and active advocacy on behalf of people with mental illness contributed to this recognition.

2001

CareLink's President and CEO, Eileen M. Joseph, MS, CPRP, received the 2001 Irv Rutman Executive Director of the Year Award from the International Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services at the annual meeting in Houston. She was also honored with the 2001 President's Award in recognition of Leadership and Support of the Certification Program for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Practitioners.

Our President/CEO also received the 2001 Community Award from the Advocates for the Jewish Mentally Ill for her efforts to improve the quality of life of people with mental illnesses.

Volunteer and Delaware Advisory Board Member Norma Zumsteg is honored by The National Coalition for Community and Justice.

2000

The Philadelphia Alliance recognizes Jerry McCabe for his volunteer contributions as a member of the Board of Directors of CareLink.

Pat Toland receives the Humantarian of the Year award from The B'Hai Community for her volunteer service to CareLink.

1999

CareLink's Concord Road Residence received a 1999 Eli Lilly Schizophrenia Reintegration Award in recognition of our highly individualized planning and attention in helping women leaving Haverford State Hospital adjust to their new home in the community.

1996

CareLink is honored to receive the Outstanding Service Organization Award from the Pennsylvania Alliance for the Mentally Ill, a family advocacy organization.
